The Standard of Care

Versus

810 MS Specialty Center

Executive Director, John Marmarou, is a doctor of physical therapy and MS specialist. Dr. Marmarou gained valuable insight and experience in the industry by working in multiple settings over the years. During this time, he realized the episodic model of care put those with chronic illness, such as MS, at a significant disadvantage. This often resulted in a cycle of rehospitalizations and functional decline.

810 MS Specialty Center was developed with a vision of breaking this cycle of rehospitalizations and decline for those with MS. This is done through a multidisciplinary approach using physical, occupational, speech and cognitive therapies to address all of the challenges that often occur with MS.

  • By specializing in MS and only MS, our centers have prevented hundreds of hospitalizations and reversed or slowed functional declines.
  • We are partners in Care with the National MS Society. This is something that is designated only for groups that have demonstrated advanced knowledge and skill in the field of MS.
  • The MS specialists at our centers, believe and work towards a common mission of providing ongoing and evidence-based care to keep their patients living safely in their communities.
